Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked ground beef (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

½ cup black beans, rinsed and drained

½ cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)

¼ cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, shredded Cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, cilantro, cumin, and chili powder. Mix until well combined.

Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it. Pinch the seams to seal any perforations, creating a solid sheet.

Cut the dough into rectangles, approximately 3 inches by 5 inches. You should have enough for about 12-14 sticks.

Place a generous tablespoon of the taco filling in the center of each rectangle.

Fold the dough over the filling to create a stick shape. Press the edges firmly to seal. You can crimp with a fork for a decorative touch.

Brush the tops of the sticks with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Place the taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Serve with optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, and salsa for dipping. Enjoy your cheesy taco sticks!
