1 lb rotini pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
