Ingredients

1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

In a bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes until combined.

Place a generous spoonful of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Carefully roll the crescent triangle starting from the wide end towards the point, encasing the filling as you go.

Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the egg wash over each croissant to give it a golden finish while baking.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
