Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust for spice preference)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon lime juice

¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with jalapeños, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.

Cook Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken to the pan, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and lime juice, scraping up any brown bits on the bottom of the skillet. Bring it to a simmer and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.

Serve: Remove the pan from the heat and garnish the spicy chicken with fresh cilantro. Serve hot over rice, in tacos, or as a standalone dish.
